Purple and pink Christmas

Five simple cards to make up another pack, this time using some Kanban purple and silver card (I've hoarded this for ages) with a little bit of torn pink (Kate Knight) scraps tucked underneath. The 'peace on earth' Personal Impressions stamp was inked with memento grape jelly and mounted on purple mirror card - think this qualifies for another catch up on Facebook Sunday's with Santa for week 38: just a sentiment.

These are for:

Red and white Christmas

'Red and white' was the theme chosen by Sylvie for the Christmas Card Club challenge for today. The sketch for Christmas challenges with sketches 44 (please click on the link to see the sketch) was perfect for using up narrow pieces of Christmas paper offcuts and I've used a piece of the lovely red and white ribbon that I got on a market stall some time ago. The thick felt reindeer with the lovely gingham bow is from The Ribbon Girl (it was part of a prize I won recently) - I've been waiting for an opportunity to use this! Even the white backing to the reindeer was from an offcuts box. With the addition of a sentiment from stash, the card was done. Another catch up for Facebook Sunday's with Santa - this time for today's 'plain and simple' (only got two weeks to catch up now).

Trying to catch up a bit ...

There's still quite a lot to do following mum's move to a residential home, but I've had a day in today and thought I'd make a card for Pinky's 'a teddy bear' challenge for the Christmas Card Club (I'm two weeks late with this). This is also for Sunday's with Santa on Facebook for week 39 (last Sunday): anything goes.

I've used a couple of Forever Friends bears hugging each other and two or three other elements which were actually part of a set to be used for an anniversary or engagement. I've used Christmas paper offcuts and a piece of glittery holly ribbon that I've had for ages. The sentiment was computer/printer generated and edged with a red copic.
