Black, white and red Noel

Day 136 on 365 cards asked 'what is black, white and red all over?'

Challenge CBCC101 on CBC is 'the word is the star', so I'm linking for that and also for Lots to do challenge 25 'words'.

The base card is a sparkly black (darker than it looks on this photo). The background is vellum from a Making Cards magazine and the Noel is from my recent QVC TSV. Although it looks a bit pink here, it is really red irl and the Noel is decoupaged, which doesn't show up here:

And another two sets of five done!

Very simple cards to add to stock and they both qualify for day 153 on 365 cards: tag you're it!

Background paper is from PM A wonderful Christmas time:

That means I've now made nine packs of 5 Christmas cards and a few individual square ones - at least I've now made a bit of a start.

Creative Inspirations: stitching

Another quick lot of five cards, using a DCWV base card and one or two other bits, including the stitched ribbon, which qualifies for Creative Inspiration challenge 15:

White space: pile it on

I decided to do the current Pile it on challenge 12 'good things come in threes!' and combine it with a couple of other challenges. I deliberately used some scallops because I knew there was a challenge that was asking for them, but when I'd finished the cards I realised that it should have included stamping, so I'll have to forget that one.

It does, however, qualify for 365 cards day 181 'white space'.

The base card has a rose tint to it and also a bit of a gold shimmer. The papers I've used were from last year's Christmas stash (not sure what they are). The 'threes', of course, are the pink flowery gems.

I made five of these, so that's another pack ready.

The way the card is standing for the photo, you can't see that there is a further bit of white space that shows from the bottom of the inside:

Dottie's World: Holiday!

It's ages since I took part in a Dottie's World challenge. Having decided to try and make a few Christmas cards, I discovered that today's challenge is 'holiday!', so I bought one of their Dottie and George Christmas Download from Charmed Cards and crafts and used the 'Santa on his sleigh' image on a background that I'd downloaded from the internet and just added the couple of Dottie's sentiments - a quick card, relying on the download, photo editing and my printer.

I'm linking this also for day 124 on 365 cards: DIY computer generated.
